The Maul
The Maul is an massive shopping center in the monster part of the city. It houses an arcade, a movie theater, several clothing shops, and an extensive food court alongside various other shops.

Residential District
The residential district of the monster part of the city. The buildings lining the streets here range from modest houses to massive mansions. Most of the non-boarding students and the faculty of Monster High live in the general area.

The section of New Salem where humans live relatively ordinary lives, blissfully ignorant of their monstrous neighbors (for the most part).

New Salem

New Salem is technically two cities that exist entirely separate from one another, one half occupied by monsters and the other by humans. The vast majority of humans have remained oblivious to the existence of monsters--and Monster High--for centuries, and young monsters in particular are warned away from venturing into the human part of the city.
