It's a new school year at Monster High--but this time, something is different. For the first time in history, the most diverse school in monster society has opened its doors not only to monsters of all shapes and sizes, but also to those few humans who are aware of the monster world.

This decision has been highly questioned by the wider monster world, but the school's new headmistress, Kaleido Chloros, is determined to make peace and find common ground. Only time will tell if her efforts are doomed to be in vain.
